It may just be me, but the top seems a bit too blue and glowing... might try tuning that down a bit. Earth texture looks amazing, really convincing cloud cover.

Really nice, but there is a distracting element at the top, where the surface and atmos look very CG. That's the only spot I have any qualm with. Where did you aquire the textures, I did an Earth a while back and I couldn't find any really high res tex-es

thanks for your criticism.
the texture is painted in photoshop (from many other earth&cloud pictures) and is finaly crunched to one layer.
as collecting main an old viewpoint map served.

no.i take only a old viewpoint map as preview and then i stitched
many fotos from earth & clouds to on layer.the glow and atmosphere
FX comes from lightwave ....the atmosph is a separat object.

I think the nimbus is just about right - high glance-angle, and the atmo is a hundred miles thick, after all. **** nice.
