View Full Version : exporting UV maps to Photoshop

dumb question, there use to be a plugin for exporting the UVs to PS, since i've upgraded (some time ago) i have no idea how to do this.

someone please help

add plugins--> input/output---> epsexport.p

Then under plug-ins--additional its called "Export Encapsulated Postscript"

Plus, the UV Edit Pro plugin (which you might not have) does a nice clean UV export, but is limited to a maximum size of 1024x1024.

It does seem to do a slightly better job than the eps exporter, which often draws rogue polygons connected across the map where they shouldn't be.

Not sure if it still works under 8.5 but... Always worked great for me.

I've been using that one too here lately. The only thing is that is seems a little too blocky. When i use other programs to generate the UV it seems to have more pixels defining the edges then that UV imaginator does. But maybe its just me.
