View Full Version : issue with Surface Custom Buffer

Hi there,

Anyone knows if there is a trouble with the Surface Custom Buffer ?
Can't get anything but a black image with it though I setted my Special Surface
channels with values between 0.1 and 1.0.

I work with LW 7.5c on Mac and PC.
On the Mac only the Buffer VIEW works, not the saving one
whatever file format I give.
On PC it's even worse : even the viewing does not work.

Also, I thought I could use the RLADeluxe export instead of the
Surface Buffer as RLA has a channel with material IDs (a bit buggued besides
but better than nothing).
The fact is I found out that if RLA export works the separated passes
that are included within it (Z, material ID, etc.) does NOT include AA !!!!
While the rendering of the whole image includes it of course.

Of course a surface buffer with no AA is completely useless…

Anyone can help / give advice ?
