Since this was not covered in the manual, I was wondering if we could address a good time to delete these files, and the best procedcure to handle them.

1.Temp Files: What are these files containing?
When is a good time to erase them?

2.Video Caches: To erase these is dangerous to one's project?
What IS a Video cache? They can be
quite large files.

3.Undo, Redos: Often we get the prompter on every edit move
that says "unable to save undo/redo" that must
be a good time to delete these??

4. Green Alien Icons with jibberish name: What are these??????
Should we erase these??????

I think your 1, 2, 4 are all the same files.

The "green alien head with gibberish name", do you mean the video cache files? There is a single one of these used by TEd while Toaster is running and it is deleted when you exit Toaster.

IF you crash out of Toaster, they are left behind and should be deleted when you aren't running Toaster.

As for 3, are you running out of disc space? You can set your preferences to store a limited number of undo/redos instead of an infinite one. But these aren't actually big files, if you're running out of space, you may need to check where you're storing your projects. You can delete them whenever you want, but you might want to just set a small limit on them in preferences.
