I know you can fake it a mutitude of ways, but are we going to get lights that will use procedurals as gels, like in many other packages?:rolleyes:

I think you already can...
Create an image in photoshop or whatnot, make it the size you want it to be, make it a blank black image.
Load into Layout...
Open Image Editor
Open the Processing Tab
Add the Textured Filter plugin and start editing that one (here you can add a procedural texture and animate the lot)
Add this texture as Light Gel/Projection Image.
Play around around a bit with the Texture Filter scale and render...

Oh yeah, you might wanna add a Full Precision BLur there aswell, since LWs Projection Textures are not smoothed (it's like looking at a DirectX 5 game:p )

Also, i often find i have better results when i create an ACTUAL light gel, i do this by placing a sheet in front of the Light, either with clipmaps or with transparancies (does need Raytracing then...so no ShadowMaps...)
