My local Aussie distributor, sent me one a few weeks back.....
Thanks Darrell!

The Demo Reel is excellent, Zoic, Embassy, EdenFX, and D7Studios,
all have some fantastic work..... (i needed a little inspiration)
So i'd hassle NT europe, they will burn you a DVD i'm sure....

Kudo's to NT for the Reel.

i don't see any reason newtek europe to not be able to deliver the DVD, but who knows.

Any particular why that stuff is not downloadable as a quicktime or divx?

After all these days bandwith is virtually free?!

Yeah, shame really, i get XSI CD's and 3DMAX stuff quite often... and i have never even bought any of their products!?? Can't figure that one out myself?!

Even a flashing LW keyring would make me happy! :D

They are. They're the same demos that you can download from http://www.newtek.com/shows/siggraph/2005/2005.php

They're the videos in the Siggraph '05 Reel section. Of course the quality isn't anywhere near as good as the DVD. ;)

In NT's defence on this matter, like i say I had the NT Demo Reel, before it was listed on the website, send couriered by my local NT dealer....
(same with the VHS LW 5.5 reel, with

I will also add, that NT USA, sent me the LW7 Discovery Edition,
in Australia, from the USA...... As well as the local distributor sent me one
local as well....... Just from the website signup....

So be patient, i did wonder if a D/L version should of been made....

But honestly NT and my Australian dealer, have offered fantastic service
over the years, they have been looking after me lately, which is nice after all these years..... Kudo's to NT and NewMagic for doing an outstanding job for me in this respect recently....

And i love the dancing robot transforming cars!
Who done them? I think it was The EmbassyVFX..... But wow!
Surely if Transformers is made into a 3D/live action film, LW should be used!

the only thing wrong with the dvd is the discovery edition isnt tucked away
on it anywhere! I actually requested it in the hoped it would be so i could show my niece what i usually end up talking about and then she could mess around with it...
