View Full Version : Morph to Target Help

Ive set up an object that morphs to multiple targets. I want the surface of that object to be a particle emitter , but when i set up the dynamics, that particles emit from the original object even after it has moprhed. (so my effect is particles emmiting from an invisible area away from my 'moving' object. Any help on how to solve this?!

Press Calculate (in the dynamics tab of the Object properties). Anything which uses deforming meshes (for collision or emitting particles) you need to do a Calculate pass.

I pressed calculate, and it calcualted the paticles along my morph. However, when i render a frame out, it renders as if the particles were never calculated.. any advice?:

You could try saving the motion using Save motion in the Emitter>File tab. Then it'll definitely stay working.

I was just about to reply that I tried saving the motion, and that seemed to work. Thanks so much
