is screamernet going to change for LW9 ?

a lot of people would probably want a totally new network render system,
but if screamernet is going to stay the same for LW9,

how about adding the current time in front of every line that screamernet writes ?

like this for example :

8:20:25pm - Rendering frame 1, segment 10/16, pass 1/5
8:30:32pm - Rendering transparent polygons.
8:32:11pm - integrating pixels.
8:33:02pm - Rendering frame 1, segment 10/16, pass 2/5
8:44:15pm - Rendering transparent polygons.
8:45:24pm - integrating pixels.

exactly. Screamernet is old, unusable, unstoppable, unfriendly, unmodern, uncooltoy, unun.

we need a manadger with autodetect of abnormal lines before loading, autodetect crashed nodes with autorestart, more info about time, thread, content of the scene and memory, bucket rendering, F9 distributed and FPrime support with FPrime distributed. we need something like that.

thank you

I curently work with Max and XSI... And I a agree with you...

Newtek have to change is network render system. It's a pre-historic tool.

Anyway! Lightwave suffer of lack of options and control.
