View Full Version : Need Help with HyperVoxels effect!

I want to create a scene where it appears that a liquid substance 'creeps' along a object, over the sides and walls. Here is a visual representation of what i would like to achieve:


My first approach was to use hypervoxels (or particles), but im having a hard time controlling them. does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Create a UV map for all the surfaces that it'll creep along, make an animated texture (a white blob growing) or something else that will simulate the growing, creeping liquid by applying it as a displacement texture on the UV map of the object to make the surface rise. You'll have to use subpatches or more complex geometry but it's another idea to use instead of Hypervoxels. Or just use a simple texture.

Or you could project it from a spare camera(s).
