I asked this in another thread but maybe it will be answered here or perhaps put into a sticky or FAQ.

What system recommendations does Newtek have for running Lightwave 64?

Is an AMD processor recommended over an Intel? System speed? RAM?

I would like to know since I am beginning to spec out a 64bit system.

http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/highendsystem/ultraw3000.asp?v=d#configurator_top

These guys have a lot of AMD and Intel 64bit options. Yet when I asked them to spec a system for Lightwave 64bit they said they had no idea and to ask Newtek instead since its so new.

Just go through the reg process the same as always and you'll see a new option for 64bit. :)

Hunter, did you get it and install it without any errors. Some haven't been able to complete an install. If so, go over to LW won't install and let them know somebody has gotten it to work.
