Ok. So I have spent hours on end with the tech support guys from newtek. I have tied every possible I can think of, and have tried almost all ideas from the postings on here.

I'm running a dual 2.0 G5 with 2GB RAM an ATi Radeon 9600 Pro OSX 10.4.2 From what I can tell my machine should run it fine. Yet everytime I try to open it it closes right away. and the only message i see is an incredibly brief "License Error"

My last option I have yet to try is to go back to Panter. Then from there Install Lightwave, see if it runs and then Install Tiger again.

If you HAVE any ideas or things I can try without doing this then please let me know. Thank you very much!

P.S. I hate life right now. :o)

I'm no expert but I do have a very similar machine except for the graphics card and have had no similar problems with installing Lightwave on either 10.3 or 10.4. which should give you hope.
A couple of things spring to mind.
Did you repair file permissions before trying the install?
I presume you have installed the eve dongle drivers?
Do you have any other dongled software which might be interfering such as Mirage.
make sure your licence file is a plain text file and not a rtf file.
Try deleting the Lightwave pref files in your user>library>preferences.
