There's one undocumented chunk in some object files -- VMPA. The test object is very simple: box with UV-mapped texture. The LWO-file contains two VMPA-chunks -- they are very short (8 bytes, the same as vertex count) and I suppose they are needed for something.

The file format description has no mention about theese VMPA chunks;
site documentation and forum search come with nothing.

It's some extra per-vmap parameters.

Definitely so. But what those numbers actually mean?

By the way, that VMPAs are present only if object file contains non-triangle faces.

They contain a score on how good a modeler LW thinks you are, and the number of dirty pictures you've looked at over the last 24 hours.

They may also contain a mode determining how the map is to be subdivided for subpatches, and some sort of sketch colour for the vmap.
