View Full Version : GLSL Hardware Shader: Texture Buffer?

The GLSL Hardware Shader works fine on my video card but on some complex textured objects I get an error of "Can't allocate texture buffer" when I try to use the Textured Mapped display mode.

Any ideas how to solve this.

My machine specs are:
Asus A8N AMD64 3000
Nvidia 6600 GT

At a guess, your video card is running out of RAM. Try lowering the texture resolution in your Display Options panel, or switching a layer or two of texturing off. I may, however, be entirely wrong.

Did you install a driver from NVidia that supports OpenGL 2.0 ?

I installed the latest drivers and reduced the Bounding Box Freshold and it works perfectly smoothly now.
