I would like to import quicktime movies into a Toaster 3 machine. I keep getting the unsupported format message. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

VT does not support the import of QT files.

You can use Quicktime Pro (30 dollar upgrade to quicktime) to convert to DV or
use Aura, load the QT file with PRELOAD OFF, then resave it there as file of choice.

Or use your program of choice to convert.

You can use Aura for this as well.

Could you give me more detail on using Aura to convert to an avi for VT3? I do have QT Pro and it allows a conversion to AVI but I would like to try the Aura work around for this problem.

As Jim_C stated, import the movie as a sequence with Preload set to off. Set the export mode to rtv or avi and export the movie as a sequence.
