As a modeling exercise, I've modeled this toon dragon.
I obviously still need to learn a lot about modeling, design and texturing.
Hope you like it.
You can see the WIP HERE (http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=41273) .

Nice model; I like the expression and the semi-transparent wings.

the model looks great to me, as i said in your wip thread. i think that you have done a great job, and i really like the wing design that you came up with in the end....but i have to say, that i am not really thrilled with the texture, it just looks really odd to me the way that it is pretty much uniform all over, even where you wouldn't expect it to be, such as inside of the ears.....anyways, really good job on the modeling, keep up the good work!!

p.s. i like the lighting and render as well, good work.

Thanks for the comments ! :D

Yes, the textures are just my very first attempt and at the moment I'm trying to learn how to do some "real" texturing.
I guess I shouldn't have posted the dragon in the finished section, because it is'nt finished at all.

I'm also looking into ZBrush to do some displacement mapping to add some fine details, and hopefully some texturing too.

Will be continued...
