Hello
I downloaded some objects at www.lwg3d.org (serentiy object) but when i loaded them in lightwave i almost can't rotate them so i thought i would try other programs just to see what they do now i must say that i don't have any problems to rotate them in xsi 5 (demo version) so what i would like to know are the new opengl improvements just to show textures and lighting or wil it speed up my my object movements and rotations and now that newtek are rebuilding lightwave it could be handy to have something like a gigapolygon core ?

Just some information
My specs are
p4 3.2 gig
ati radeon 9800 Pro
1gig ram

At least one of those, if not both, are discussed here:

if you read this you can see there will come something new named ppu

it wil work together with your cpu gpu

now i know it will be mostly used for games but i think 3d software like lightwave can also use it as a option

i think they must keep an eye on it just in case

it wil help with realistic water smoke etc Nice for the view ports don't you think ?

some info about 3dsmax and ppu
