I'm using Sasquatch to add fur to this puffin that should look like a plush figure. I've changed the colors of the fur to match the surfaces, but it ends up rendering all black furs regardless of my color settings.

Could someone please help me out on changing the color of this fur? If you have links to some beginner Sasquatch tutorials that would be much appreciated as well :) .

Thanks a lot

THe surface colour has nothing to do with the colour of the fur in Sasquatch. I assume you're using Saslite?. If so, there's a colour box on the main Sasquatch panel. In the full version it gets more complex as you have four different colour settings to work with.

Thanks for the quick reply.

holeycow, I'm using Sasquatch full, and I have changed the color for all four color settings (for example for the feet I changed all four to orange), and it still renders black.

EDIT:

Here are my color settings for the feet.

nvm, I got it. The problem was in Shading, not Color. I cranked Translucent Lighting down and it looks much better.
