:help:

I'm trying to create a sequence which shows cracks forming in the ground from underneath a boiling pool of liquid. This is a far as I got. I'm ok with the liquid, but the cracks are BAD!

What would be quickest way to get a passable sequence together, as I'm on a tight deadline for this one?

This attempt was done by laying an image sequence over the ground texture - but that doesn't seem the right way to go about it.

Any help is appreciated!

You can also do this using Dynamics in LW...something similar to this simple test! :)

Is there a tutorial for this method? I need to animate a cut in the surface of an object, and thought this method might work. The animation will be of a laser, cutting a section out of the block.
