It's been a long week. If I'm making a graphic in photoshop for use in video, what resolution should I use? I know 72dpi for the web, 300 for print, but for some reason I can't remember video right now. Something in my head says 150, but I feel lost right now.

Thanks.

DPI is kind of meaningless in video, more of a print thing. Just set your res to 720x486 (if NTSC) or 720x576 (if PAL). You may need to test for aspect ratio, though (I almost never use Photoshop, so can't help you there.)

72dpi 720x486 should work just fine.

Unless I'm wrong, I haven't noticed any problems with this setting.

720 X 486 is cool. Photoshop uses the wrong aspect pixels, but in most cases the Toaster will compensate correctly. If you get pictures that look squished vertically, use little more vertical height (maybe 720 X 510 NTSC) in Photoshop.
