That one stone brick looks like it should have fallen so I might re-arrange that. I think the choice of blue brick is also a little distracting --- I would have picked a different color. The cup feels a little bit tiny but that's your call.

Does the image look to dark? Is the volumetric light working?

I don't think so. I do think it needs some atmosphere. I very low amount of fog would help I believe. Also, the procedural texture on the lid is a bit strong. Try an alpha layer to with another procedural to make less obvious that it is a procedural.

The volumetric light looks good. :)

However the stone bricks look wrong.
You need to add some general roughness to the bricks first. How about
a fine crumple texture (2mm on each access) in the bump channel with texture value around 20-30 to give the initial base roughness.
Then add another crumple (turbulance) layer with higher texture and dimesion values to increase the roughness. You could use weight maps to help place the roughness to add more variation.
