I'm desperate for the Transparent configuration rendering using FPrime. I have created a nice Loft interior view with 3 large windows ( 100 % Transparent), but have a exellent Background to use , but even that the windows are Transparent I still don't see the background. I did enable the Ray Trace Transparentcy in LW rendering.
I've made this particular attachment with image as surface, not background.
your help is greatly appreciated

Are your environment settings in the surface editor set to 'raytrace and backdrop'? Also, the ray recursion setting needs to be high enough.

raytrace and backdrop is set and ray recursion setting 16.

Still messed up ???

I assume your background image is a backdrop image. The backdrop image is invisible to all raytraced rays (basically sinc eit has no real position in the LW world).
Front project it onto a simple polygon, diffuse 0% - luminosity 100%, and place it behind your scene (and make the poly large enough). That should do the trick.
