View Full Version : blurring inside volumetrics

Here's a puzzle. I'm doing a low rez test of some rigging getting destroyed. The splinters are inside a hypervoxel cloud of smoke expanding at around the same rate. The trouble is, it seems that the blurred position of the splinters is not taken into account inside the volume. Inside the hypervoxels only one sample is taken for the hole it would make in the volume. This won't do at all, any ideas? My whole pitch for this gig is that we can do this.

Hmmm, do you have Volumetric Antialiasing On ?
Maybe some more AA passes ?

Also, some Object-Dissolve of extra parts flying around !

How many frames is the explosion ?
It has to be short and sudden and not slow-mo, something like 6 frames explosion and 15 frames to settle.

Yes, I've tried various iterations of aliasing with the same net result. I'll try the object dissolve, although I'm not sure what it will do.
