View Full Version : spec/reflection issues

I'm having problems with a particular object surfaces not responding.

A specularity 1 looks just like 100, but 0 turns it off
A spherical reflection map has no effect, even at reflection of 100

I cleared the scene and loaded another object and both things work fine.

Any ideas?

I can only suggest looking for a rogue shader. Go to the Shaders tab, disable everything by clicking their checkmarks off, and see if it works. If so, enable shaders one at a time until you find the culprit.

That was it thanks. Although I really don't recall ever even opening the "shaders" tab, and definatly not applying a BDRF shader, but there it was. **** knomes messing with my goods while I sleep...
