Ok, I've done a test render of a room I'm doing to illustrate my problem. I want a room that is only lit up by this candle. I've got volumetric light turned on this point light, and I only want the light where the radius is around the candle, not lighting up the whole light as they have here. How can I only have light were the volumetric light is?

(Please only look at lighting, objects and texturing not finished :D )

I don't quite understand what you mean. If you want the light to only illuminate up to a certain distance from the source, adjust the falloff for the light settings. If you are in side or to view in layout, you can see the diameter there.

Well, I just want it to show light around the radius of the volumetric light, but when I turn the intensity of the point light up, it lights up the walls as well as the volumetric light. I just want the volumetric light to show up.

Turn the ambient light down to 0%.
Good luck...

also turn on intensity falloff on your light
