RAM: PNY Optima 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model D1GBPC32-G5KIT - approx. $90

4200+ is alright, but I'd recommend going to a 4400+ (which is what I have) or a 4800+. Pricing on other X2's (http://www.mwave.com/mwave/ViewProducts.hmx?PID=CPU-A64X2&updepts=CPU&DNAME=Processors+%2D+CPU)

I have that same motherboard, it's nice, runs cooler than the deluxe. I'd recommend this monster (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118115) to cool your processor (I have one, btw).

RAM... I dunno... seems a little cheap... I guess it's not really all that high of quality, but I could be mistaken. I'd also recommend getting 2 gigs, but that's just me. I've got 2 gigs of OCZ, which is nice to have around. Considering your graphics card, I'd assume you've got the money to spare. If you're going for a rendering station, I say cut back to a 6800/6800GT and put the rest of that cash into getting more ram and a 4800+.

I agree, get the 4400+ instead of the 4200+. That's the best bang-per-buck system. The 4600+ and 4800+ are faster but start getting really out of hand.

The 7800GTX will be more than enough, it's the fastest video card you can buy currently. You could even save a few dollars and get the 7800GT instead, it will still be just fine, and that will savings will pay for the 4400+ upgrade.
