View Full Version : Is 'Mirror' Texture Bust?

I noticed this when I first started using LightWave, but thought nothing of it.

In the texture editor the two options for repeating texture maps are 'Repeat' and 'Mirror', repeat clearly works, but looking at the OGL preview, mirror appears to do nothing.

Or doesn't it do what I think it does?

It does, but it may not display correctly in opengl. Mine displays correctly in opengl, but you might want to do a render to check it's not your graphics card.

I played with this yesterday. Seemed to work for me aswell (in OGL).

Remember that what you see in OpenGL is not necessarily what it will look like in the final render. Always do a test render - that shows you everything. My OpenGL does not properly show the mirrored image map option.
