Anti-Aliased lines etc. are great, as are polys. It would be fab if this could be added. Makes the whole screen a bit nicer to look at.

Should just be a case of switching it on!! :D

You can control the AA level with your videocard. Change from "Application Controlled" (nVidia) to whatever you want. Keep in mind that it will alter performace.

Good idea. But its a pain to setup... a "tick" box would be much better.

It also looks much nicer BTW.... and theres LOTS of spare bandwidth on GFX cards in lightwave. Remmeber its not the card thats slowing things down!

:D

Oh... and Layout has an anti-alias option... so its not like they dont know about it!!! ;)

Yeah, the AA is only for the grid in Layout.

You can set up the AA (and any other setting) to run when LW is on.

It's not that hard at all. Go to your advanced video settings, select the OpenGL tab, and where it says "Full-Scene Anti-Aliasing" or whatever, just slide the slider away from "Application Preference" - usually the other settings are like 2x, 4x, 6x and so on. Hit Apply, and you're done. I'm using ATI cards both at work and at home, and this is all it takes. You may have to restart LW for it to kick in.

Your joking aren't you? I work with artists that can hardly turn a machine on, never mind even KNOW about the display properties. Artists as a general rule dont get technical with computers, they use them as a tool, and just like a pencil, they dont really care what holds it all together.

If its not on the screen in front of them, they've no chance of finding it.
