Just save the textures in BP and apply them in the surface editor in LW.
(Assuming you haven't altered the UV maps in Bodypaint. If you have, someone else reply!)

For the successful exchange between Lightwave and BodyPaint
be aware of these facts.

example 1, A head is textured using a cylindrical map around the y, created by using the unwrap plugin (derived from the surface editor settings and automatic size) and a texture from this is created and attached in lightwave before assigning it to bodypaint.

This object must be centred -F2- in Lightwave before exporting to BodyPaint otherwise the texture will get screwed up.

If however it was a component of a whole figure that had been centred it would work fine within the exchange as itís position is relative.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NB: An object controlled by a uvmap does not need to be centred for the exchange to work.

Assign the majority of all your textures and mapping of choice in Lightwave before exchanging to BodyPaint

In transferring between Bodypaint and lightwave, once the texture is exported back to Lightwave from Bodypaint you can not undo the texture if you re-export it back to Bodypaint.

Lightwave does it seem keep itís modeling undoís - eg: switch to sub dís distort the object, bring it into Bodypaint, paint on the object then sent it back to Lightwave and undo the steps back to the starting form
