Hi folks

I have a dual 2.4gig Xeon, Quadro 750, 1gig RAM system running on Windows XP.

I have been following Dan Alban's tuts in Inside Lightwave 7. All was going well till I went through Chapter 8 on modelling the skyscrapers. I ended up with a huge file-- over 67megs!!! So I start having redraw problems, cutting and pasting functions take over a minute for some of the geometry and I can't even save my work now while getting "not enough memory" error. I have the latest Quadro driver. Is there something going on with my configurations? Or is the file size just too massive. You would think Dan Alban would have thought of file size as being an issue in a tutorial with all the arrays and bevels of huge geometry.

I would appreciate any and all feedback.
Thanks guys.

I think I mayb very well have doubles since I looked at the final model in the book's cd...it is a fraction of the one I built, size-wise. So I probably created unnecessary copies along the way. Thanks.
