I wish to buy the bundle, and I have a friend that would like my Vue 5 license since my work doesn't require what it has to offer. Is Vue 5 transferable and/or is it tied to your dongle?

If it isn't tied to they LW dongle then it'll make it much more afordable for me to upgrade!

Thanks,
Gideon

PS- I did a search on the forums...but could find no proof of if it was or not...

I thought soone had posted that it doesn't need a dongle, but I could be very wrong.

Just wanting to be 100% ready und sure!

wacom,
If/when you do buy, could you post whether the person taking your order mentions Vue 5 is now on backorder and there will be a shipping delay? I was told no shipping until each sw in the bundle is in stock. i.e. , they won't piecemeal the shipment.

km,
BTW, when did you order Vue you will receive Tues.?

I would, but I'm going to order off of the net. Sorry.

No worries...just wondering if I got the same story as others buying the bundle. Thanks.

There's a few things I wouldn't mind tied to my dongle.

(Obligatory on-topic comment: I can't wait for my Vue 5!)

Now, now...I need real answers with no sexual intent...though it is less fun. :D

Actually Since I already have the dongle, I wouldn't mind if it was tied to the dongle. I don't really like licenses that are based on per computer or per cpu. Better yet, I prefer the license to be based per user.

I bought 5 Vue Infinite about 3 months ago and it's a great product. I boguht it before e-onsoftware and Newtek decided to partner and hope that the integration of the two products will be even tighter.

There is a great instructional article and demo of the Vue 5 Infinite in the August 2005 3D world magazine.
