View Full Version : Looking for Freelance Lightwave Artist in NYC area

08-01-2005, 01:50 PM
Hi. Our company is slowly expanding it's 3D department (me). We are looking to find a Lightwave user in the NYC metro area to work on an occasional freelance basis. Not a full time position. You should have several years of 3D experience and feel comfortable working under broadcast deadlines. If you feel you meet the criteria and are interested, then check out our website, and send me an email.

Thanks for yer time.

Hi Aaron !

I have one silly question :)

IF is a FREELANCE position why is it important location of Artist?

It's due to the pace of the broadcast content we create and a need for more creative interaction than web or phone allows. The creative director and myself are usually designing and executing the jobs as the day progresses so we aren't in a position to meter out the work and then wait for it to come in or download it from an ftp. Occasionally, when the project is large enough we want another Lightwaver here to sit down and pick up some of the slack and offer their creative input. I'm not saying it couldn't work, but we want to see how much slicker we can start making out 3D elements look under pretty tight time constraints with a two man team in house. Hope this answers your question.
