hi again guy's this is my new image, is quite simple, not so real, but i want to do a warm looking scene, again illuminated with a sky dome, 1 area light, 1 bounce, montecarlo radiosity, rendered in Fprime,

I need some advices in UV mapping, i didnīt know how to use it well.

I think it's great! It's very original. It has a lively feel to it. As for the UV mapping, hmmm, I'm no specialist at UV texturing either. But anyways, which objects are you planning to map with UVs? The pencils or the table?

When I map a 3d head with UV coordinates I prefer cylindrical projection on the Y axis. Then I follow these steps:

-copy those cylindrical coordinates and click on the map tab in Modeller.

-click on "New UV Map" on the side bar

-give your new uv map a name

-change the map type to cylindrical along the Y axis

-click on "manual" and paste the coordinates accordingly

-go back to the surface editor

-click on color and change the projection type from cylindrical to UV

-in "UVMap", select the name of the uv map that you made earlier.

Hope that helps, cheers. :)
