View Full Version : Filtering Scenes of corrupted items

I have been having some issues with rendering a particular scene that results in the displaying of various error messages. The messages relate to memory warnings with the segment/frame buffers (been through all the normal steps...).


I suspect I have a corrupted image file built into the scene somewhere. It would appear one of the objects is massively weighted as LW says it can't "Create the image".

Is there an easy way to filter the scene of any item that can or can't be identified? In apps like Strata and FormZ, you can export the scene or file, create a new scene and import the items quickly, minus the corruption.

Any ideas?

Might try the Load from Scene, although if one of the object's components is corrupt, this might not help.

You might also move the objects and images to a different folder, causing LW to query for loading missing objects and images. You might be able to identify the corrupted object that way and answer "no" when LW asks to replace the object.

Otherwise, I'd go to a backup of the scene/object files.
