just curious if anyone here uses animation master. I just bought it yesterday for the **** of it. I wanna try something a little different than LW for animation so for $249 I figured why not.

I hear that you can import lwo by way of dxf(?) and it works out well if you only sub-d at level 1 in LW.

Anyways-just curious.

I used A:M before I used Lightwave but I never tried to use the two together.

The one thing I learned using AM is that it doesn't play well with other apps. Mind you I finally got fed up with app several versions ago, but I can't imagine Hash backing off their patch zealotry and allowing clean import or other formats. DXF import usually resulted in a twisted mess that either crashed the app or required massive editing. ****, models from one upgrade to the next would break. Export on the other hand was quite useful, though LWs modeling toolset along with subpatch mode beats it cold. Animation is another thing entirely, if you can can get the app to work consistently and your not on a Mac I hear it's pretty cool. Not my experience.
