Does anyone know where I can find more detailed docs on the LWO2 file format besides these?
http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/developer/LW80/8lwsdk/docs/filefmts/lwo2.html
http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/developer/LW80/8lwsdk/docs/filefmts/lwo2ex/lwo2ex.html

I'm trying to write a LightWave exporter for an application and the Newtek docs don't describe how the various chunks are linked together.

What I'm trying to do is get the CLIP chunk and STIL subchunk written correctly.
At the moment I write a VMAD TXUV and then immediately following that the CLIP and STIL chunks however when I load the model the UV mapping is fine but it doesn't pick up the textures filenames like it should.
Is there some trick in getting a STIL linked to a material?

Thanks
Paul

Not of the top of my head, without seeing some of your code, or being
in front of my manuals...

But you could try a Google searches perhaps,
Best bet would be to post to the LW-P plugin list, as somebody
is more likely to be able to answer your question their....
And you could search the archives for similar questions...

I came right in the end.
Using a hex editor on working LWO files helps a lot. :)
