View Full Version : Flipping UV's causing a mess

Does anyone know why when I try and flip some UV's in either U or V all I get is a mess where it seems that some of the points are still attached to other parts of the mesh. The thing is I've got free move on and I've even cut the polys so they're seperate from the rest of the mesh and yet it still messes up. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I don't think they've fixed most of the tools to work with the new UV mode yet, so it's best you unweld those polys for now.

Yeah I thought that so I un-welded them but it still does the same thing.

I find if you reselect the mesh after you've made the UV's and un weld it again this problem is less likely to occur, but at least on one occasion when I did this it persisted
