I have recently started creating architectural renderings (just joined the club!) and need a plug-in that simulates the famous View Camera, the better architectural photographers use. I thought LW might have a built-in option for straightening veticals, but I can't find it.

Am I missing something, or what?

I know there are a few plugins that allow planar, isometric renders. One way that sometimes works for me is to set the camera zoom factor Waaay up to like 50 or greater and back the camera up until the scene is framed.

Here's a quickie at the default camera settings:

and here it is with a zoom factor of 50:

Thanks. I confess to know more than enough about zoom factors and all that, but the one thing I need to chase are those plug-ins. It is a poor architectural photograph that doesn't use the isometric lens. The ability to generate dymamic perspectives is controlled by these options.

Thanks anyway.

A quick peek on Flay (isn't that another thread?) revealed a few.

Juan Gonzalez - Special Projection Engine (http://www.arrakis.es/~juanj/)

Eki's Plug Pak - Fakemetric Camera (http://www.kolumbus.fi/erkki.halkka/plugpak/)

Jeremy Hardin - Make Ortho Camera (http://jeremy.lwidof.net/lscript/)
