In the Book Inside LW 7 by Dan Alban he recomends that I use an unwrap pluggin by Ernie Wright for the placement of a cylindrical texture map. Funny thing is is that I don't understand how to use it because the file doesn't look like a pluggin (Off the ILW7 CD), the file looks like a text script. Dan doesn't give a detailed description of how to use this file and I don't know where to put this script file called "unwrap.sea". Does anyone know if this pluggin is absolutely necessary to make a good cylindrical map? I mean why can't I just make an every day UV map for a head, color it in photoshop and use that as a cylindrical map instead. I can't find Ernie's website anyway so I can't get a real pluggin. Excellent book but a bit confusing to someone who isn't a tech wiz. Does Anyone have any good methods for precisely projecting a cylindrical or planar map? Thanks

I've never used it, but .sea gennerally means "Self-Extracting Archive."

Try double clicking on it, and see if it expands and gives you a plug-in.
