Is it true  ? It seems to me that IK booster allows to get realistic bouncing effects. I just read about this feature on the manual (page 289, dynamics effect). I guess this feature is mainly intended for bouncing joints. But, I'm wondering how good it is to bounce boned breasts, fat abdomens, hair tails, etc.

Ok, it will only bounce the bone/joint instead of realistically deforming the vertices on the surface, as softbody does. But, for many effects it should be enought, and faster to compute. Did anyone tried it at all ? How good is it ?

bye, Alessandro :)

p.s. what feature/tool do you like best for bouncing effects anyway ?

sorry,

now I realize that I did a very stupid question. I found the AVI tutorial on the LW8 features page (dynamiceffect.avi). It works great, does nice bouncings and takes almost zero cpu time. This new IK booster really rocks :D !

bye, Alessandro
