I finally got my copy of LW 8.3... i am running on OS X and was wondering is there a freeware or shareware render controller like Lightnet, Butterflynetrender, etc. for OS X?

Hello !

And welcome on LightWave on Mac OSX ! :)

As for the render controller on Mac OSX, you have the choice of multiple apps, like ScreamerNet Controller (http://www.catalystproductions.cc/screamernet/) from Catalyst Production, or RenderFarm Commander (http://www.brucerayne.com/renderfarm.html) from Bruce Rayne.

I use RenderFarm Commander myself, and, althought i didn't use it since 6 or 8 months (been on another platform and another software for some time...), i know that it's in beta version for the 3.0 release... And the actual version is working very well with 8.0...

I'm sure there is more option, but i don't know the other solutions...

Hope it helps !
