The Clark Planetarium is seeking a talented 3-D computer modeler/animator for its production department. The position requires extensive experience modeling, texturing, and animating. Artists with LightWave experience preferred. Experience in Adobe Photoshop, AfterFX and Premier is a plus. This is a position in Salt Lake City. Applicants must be willing to relocate. The Clark (formerly Hansen) Planetarium has a Digistar 3 full-dome video projection system under a 55-foot dome, installed in 2003. Annual attendance is around 150,000. It has a talented team of six (three modeler/animators, an audio-video producer and two part-time production assistants). Original programming includes full-dome 3-D animation shows like "The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket," "Destination Saturn," "Night Vision" and a variety of music entertainment material. These shows have been distributed to six states and five other countries.
