It would be very useful to be able to organize surfaces within seperate objects inside of one object file. Say for instance you have a city scene with several buildings and you have seperate surfaces for each building. You could have a collapsable list of surfaces for each building within the object file. Maybe you could use the same format that we use to name endomomorphs such as building1.glass and builidng 2.glass, etc.... to make each subgroup appear under a main object.
