I just started with LW. Using 7.5 version.
I have a problem rendering scene with logo. Animation for output .RTV with alpha. Want to render 500 frames, but when its done animation only 6:20sec with missing a begining part. What's wrong? Tried to render into Targa sequence, works but then I cannot make(convert) it into video clip in my VT3.

Neded help ASAP
Thanks

This may be way to basic, but sometimes it's the simple things that get you. Did you check the start and stop frame in the render options panel?

In my case scene has 1000 frames. I want to render 500 only, so I specify first 1 last frame 500. Maybe that is my problem to render lesser number of frames that scene contain.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I don't use a toaster, but if your targa sequence is working (rendering all 500 frames) is there another image sequence or animation/movie format that the toaster will accept? Try a test of several formats like a .iff sequence, or some different movie formats. You can also try different codecs (Click the Save Animations/ Options button), like full-screen uncompressed, or animation (a lossless RLE compressor).

Ok. Could you tell me what codec to use for animation that would match .RTV? I need high quality with alpha.

Thanks

Sorry, I don't have a toaster. Can't you check the formats that show up in the toaster's import dialog box? ...or check the documentation to see what formats it can import, then render in LW accordingly.
