Hi, I am new to LightWave. And am still getting to know the basics.
I have been trying to turn a light on and off in an animation of a circuit tester I am making for the school I work at to explain how the tester works. As a button is pressed a light comes on, then two crocodile clips are connected to a component causing a second light to come on.
Please help

You could use that light's properties and keyframe intensity.

Hello Rick,

Have you looked into the envelope.
Select your light.
Open Scene Editor.
Select the Light in question, go to the Property tab and set this selection to Light Basic.
Then under the Intensity Field (column) click on the (E) button for the envelope window.
You can now key frame the light intensity up down and also the colour of the light under the Light Colour Field. (E)

Hope this helps, if not post again.
Best of luck.

Thanks guys,
Thatís been totally helpful. I was able to use the same principles for enveloping the luminosity and defuse channels to add to the affect and its working brilliantly.
Thank you.
