View Full Version : Problems with transparent surfaces and sky dome with radiosity

There are three elements: texture dome, light dome and the house.
Texture dome is a sphere with polygons facing inward with a procedural texture.
Light dome is the same sphere slightly smaller with a procedural texture for the color channel and a gradient texture for the luminosity channel.
And the house is a multlayer object with various surfaces, specially a glasss surface with transparency at 90 %.
The problem is you can see the light dome surface and not the texture dome surface when I render with radiosity. In properties for the light dome I checked Unseen by camera.
I tried a series of modifications on the glass surface with no sucess.
Anybody knows how to fix this?

I'm guessing that you have ray-trace transparency on. Since the light dome is seen by rays, it will show up in raytraced transparency. You probably don't need it, try turning it off.
