Hello, I'm a person who is going to get lightwave 3d soon, but I'm wondering,
What is the difference between lightwave 3d version 8.2.1 and lightwave 3d version 8.2.1?

thanks.

lightwave 3d version 8.2.1 and lightwave 3d version 8.2.1?

thanks.

I think you meant 8.2 and 8.2.1?

Bug fixes. You should always use the latest version of a piece of software. It's a no-brainer.

There's no difference between the student/educational version and the commercial version - you aren't allowed to use it for paid work - that's all.

Upgrading is not a problem for you.

by the way, what's the difference between version 8 and version 8.2?
Is the acedemic one version 8.2, or just 8?

thanks

The academic software is *exactly* the same as the commercial software. The exact version is whatever you get when it's shipped to you. If you get shipped 8.0, then update to 8.2, then 8.2.1.

If you were shipped 8.2 then just update to 8.2.1 (or perhaps just wait "a few days" for 8.3).

There is no specific educational version.
