View Full Version : image distortion in UV projection

G'day, any help appreciated.

Trying to UV project images textured in Bodypaint 3D, I was cursing Maxon as my textures serously distorted in Modeler. I then tried to create images in both Fireworks and Gimp with various texture sizes up to 2048x2048. I tried saving as png, tiff, tga & jpg but still got the same problem. I have deleted the image i/o plugins and reloaded but the problem remains the same. The 2 attached images show what happens when a Fireworks image (FWscreenshot) is loaded into Modeler (LWscreenshot). It does not matter the file type or image size, the problem is always this blocky distortion.

Silly me; please ignore that last post. This was a new install of LW on an upgraded workstation. I had forgotten about the image resolution in backdrop.
