The SDK has sample code of plugins.

Granted it is not structured like every other SDK as there is no intro to our SDK for thsoe who want to write plugins for our software. They expect you to be a coding god and can look at the code of the samples provided in the SKD and instantly know how to write plugins.

There are mailing lists, yahoo groups, misc websites that barely touch on the subject of the LW SDK [mostly lean to the scripting language LScript].

If you are looking for a book like the excellent Maya SDK or a well structured and well written Help file on how to use the SDK that includes tutoriles and such. You are looking at the wrong SDK.

There's a forum at http://www.splinecage.com/forums/ with other SDK coders but no tutorials.

The tutorial I found most useful in getting myself up and running with the SDK was this one (http://www.catalystpics.co.uk/lwp/lesson1.htm), that was when I was running LW6, but the principles are the same.

Also there are some more links to sites on the Lightwave Tutorials on the Web (http://members.shaw.ca/lightwavetutorials/programming.htm) site.

Hope these are of help.
