View Full Version : Merging or Adding UV Maps?

I've got a multiple-segment creature, an insect-like thing. The individual segments are UV-mapped in LW, to allow me to have a great deal of control over the texturing. I'd also like to be able to do some of the textuing on the whole thing at one time in ZBrush, using the GUVTiles option. I've done the export and the import and it works fine, except that when the GUV tiles UV arrangement is applied in ZBrush, it seems to wipe the UVs I made in LW. I'd like to be able to apply the resultant GUV tiles UV map to the same object as the one with all the other (individual segment) UV maps. Any suggestions?

The answer seems to be UVEdit. I'm not certain yet, but it seems to have transferred the map.....

OK! Aside from the minor inconvenience of having to load the UV texture separately for each segment, I'm good to go! I hope to be posting a picture of the thing here any day, in the WIP section.
