Hi,
I am relativley new to charater animation, does anyone know where i can get a tutorial or any info on how to get clothes to move with my model and not have a leg or arm push through. i have been playing with motion designer with little success. Am i just not getting it or what?
PLEASE HELP! I am working in LW 7.5d.

Basically youll have interpenetrations. I look at cloth as a tool to get me most of the way. Its never going to be perfect but like I said it can get you close to where you want to be quicker then doing it all by hand. :)

You can make the surfaces under the cloth invisible so you dont see the interpenetrations. You can also render in separate passes. Another thing is that you can sometimes paint out the frames that have the imperfections. You can also use bones to help animate the cloth. Endomorphs can also be used to help fix the collsions problems as well. :)
